Abstract

In this paper, we propose an adaptive tracking channel control mechanism for GNSS receiver in weak signal applications powered by renewable energy sources. The proposed technique dynamically adjust tracking channels to get supreme time coverage and positioning availability under desired accuracy requirement. A computation-efficient architecture is developed for the efficient power management and adaptive tracking channel control as well. The proposed technique achieves significant advantage over conventional techniques on tracking time coverage and performance.
