International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED)

Dear Session Chairs/Moderators,

ISQED’21 event will be conducted using zoom webinar platform.  In order to streamline number of webinars, we have arranged 4 simultaneous zoom webinars for Wednesday April 7, 4 for Thursday April 8, and 1  for Friday April 9, for a total of 9 webinars, as follows:

Track G&A – April 9

 

By now you should have received email from zoom.us which includes a specific link for you to join and participate in the specific track where your session is located. Depending on which session you chair, the email subject should contain something like “Track A – Wednesday April 7” or “Track D – Thursday April 8”, etc. For example, if your session is 3B, your link will take you to “Track B – April 8” shown above, etc. If you can’t find the email please check your spam box and if you still don’t see it, let us know and we will send it again.

Please join your session 10 minutes before start of the session, check the panelist list to make sure all speakers are available. Use slack channel for your session to notify speakers to join if you don't see their names in the list of panelists. Use zoom chat to communicate with the track host and speakers if needed.

Beside the session you are moderating, if you like to participate in any other session, click on the zoom icon in the desire box from the above table. Ypu might need to have a zoom account (it's free!) to join.

 

Presentation Length

Download all pre-recorded presentations of your session before the event. Also have te session slides ready for sharing. When sharing authors' pre-recorded presentations, click on "Share Computer Sound" located at the bottom left corner of share menue. Paper presentation length is limited to 20 minutes (including Q/A) for regular papers, and 5 minutes (including Q.A) for WIP papers. Please strictly enforce these limits so we can follow the schedule very closely.

Slack Channel

ISQED'21 is using the Slack platform for communication between authors, session moderators, and committee members. Please join slack using the link provided to you before. We recommend installing Slack app in your mobile phone and/or PC and pay close attention to messages by the conference organizers and authors in case of any disruptions.

In order to facilitate communication, when you join Slack, edit your profile and change your display name to include your role at the conference. For example if John Doe is charing session1A then the format should be: 1A_chair_John_Doe

If you are charing more than one session, please include all of them in series, chronologically. Prior to event check the list of participants in your slack channel to make sure all speakers have joined. If they have not add them using their email ID which has been provided to your already.

Please use slack channel assigned to your session to communicate with your session presenters. before and during the event.
